Backdoors & Breaches is the official cooperative incident response card game from Black Hills Information Security and Antisyphon Training. Official Competitive is the head-to-head format: two teams of Defenders race against the same hidden scenario crafted by an Incident Captain. The first team to fully diagnose and contain the breach — Initial Compromise, Pivot & Escalate, C2 & Exfil, and Persistence — wins the round. Games run 30–60 minutes for 2–8 players, entirely in your browser. Free, no download.

How a match runs

The Incident Captain shuffles four Attack categories and selects one card from each, hidden from the Defenders. Each turn, Defenders pick a Detection card, roll a d20 against established procedures, and follow the resulting clues. Reveal all four Attacks before the timer expires and the Defenders win the round. In Official Competitive, two Defender teams play the same scenario in parallel and the faster team takes the win.
